"Caylyn has a powerful singing voice. She sounds a whole lot like Martina McBride, and to a lesser extent, Carrie Underwood on "Shine", which is a song that seems nearly tailor made for McBride. The track is built on a chiming electric guitar groove. It opens with a relatively loud jangle, but quiets down significantly when Caylyn’s voice enters the mix for the verses. Then it ramps up the volume again during the vocal chorus."
