All Fired Up is
the nations rising star of tribute bands. Pat Benatar is a
one of a kind talent that simply cannot be replicated precisely.
That said, the goal of this band is to honor and celebrate
the music of Pat Benatar and present a quality performance that
is as close to the real deal as possible. Thus audiences not
able to take in a live Benatar performance can still enjoy
a detailed, well performed live stage show of an '80s
rock legend. Young and old alike will enjoy this professional
group of talented musicians, which include vocalist Sadie Brown
as Pat Benatar, guitarist Christopher Dunn as Neil Giraldo,
drummer Matt Padgett at Chris Ralles, keyboardist Jeff Bay
as Charlie Giordano, and bassist Joe Birtola as Mick Mahan.
Of course Pat Benatars’ band mates changed around
throughout the years except for Neil (her husband and guitarist
extraordinaire).
The musicians of All Fired Up are
all seasoned professionals and have extensive experience performing
at major venues throughout California, Nevada and beyond. What
makes their performances so entertaining is the amount of detail
and work the band puts into each song to try and get it sounding
as close to the original piece as possible. The band didn’t
just throw this project together - if this challenging replication
project was going to be done at all, it had to be done right! It’s
the respect that Pat Benatar, her band and their music deserve
and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
Vocalist Sadie Brown (winner and nominee
for many national and local acknowledgements and awards) takes
the stage as Pat Benatar and mesmerizes audiences with her stunning
vocal talents and stage performance. Sadie hails from Modesto,
California, and is known for her powerhouse vocals that can wrap
around any lyric and definitely make them her own. Brown has a
timeless yet modern sound that follows in the footsteps of such
greats as Linda Ronstadt, Ann Wilson, and Martina McBride. Performing
the part of Pat Benatar is a challenge for any singer at any
level, however Sadie does a beautiful job and delivers an energy
packed show that all ages are sure to enjoy.
Guitar enthusiasts will have their eyes
on Christopher Dunn, who takes on the challenge of replicating
the incredible guitar proficiencies of Neil Giraldo. Relying
on years of experience in original and cover music, Chris delivers
an electrifying effort on the guitar that will put a smile on
any musicians face, as well as those just waiting to hear their
favorite Neil Giraldo licks!
Benatar almost always had a utility
musician in the mix playing an additional backing guitar to Neil’s,
or a keyboard with backing vocals. Multi-instrumentalist Jeff
Bay handles this important role in the project with detailed
rhythms on guitar and keyboard riffs from the very recognizable
to the tasteful subtle backgrounds. Jeff has played music internationally
as well as in local acts. It’s a treat to hear Jeff play
any instrument he picks up!
The unison and punch of the bass
and drums is essential to Pat Benatar’s rhythm section, therefore
it is no different in All Fired Up. Joe Birtola and
Matt Padgett have worked diligently to define the tones, pushes,
fills and beats that give Benatar’s music that rock edge
and gracefulness we have all come to know and love. They realize
it’s not how they play as individuals - its how they
play as a unit that will ensure success. Each with over 30 years
of musical performance experience (in both studio and live stage)
promotes a show that will leave Benatar fans appreciative and
satisfied.
All together these musicians
team up and perform extremely well as a unit. On stage, audiences
will see a true rock and roll show full of energy and musical
proficiency. All Fired Up delivers a tribute show that
is not typical and quite out of the ordinary in that it is exceptionally
good. It’s a tribute to a legend... so it’s
got to be exceptionally good, or it doesn’t go on stage.
